Maintenance Instructions
Your Kool Dry Dryer or Kool Raptor Dryer is equipped with two filter systems.
Your Kool Dry Pup is equipped with only one inlet filter.
1. CLEANING THE OUTSIDE INLET FILTER: This filter is on the outside front of the unit. It can be removed by pulling it out with your fingers. After removing it from the unit, clean with warm, soapy water, rinse and allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting in the unit. Maintaining this filter will extend the time needed to clean the internal filter.
2. CLEANING THE INTERNAL FILTER: UNPLUG THE DRYER FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET. This filter is located inside the box on the rear of the motor. Remove the Phillips-head screws from all four sides of the front panel, and slide the motor module from the case. Remove the filter (dome shape) and clean with warm, soapy water, rinse and allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting into the unit. Reinsert the filter. Make sure the wire nuts that hold the respective wires together have not come loose. Slide the motor module back into the case. Re-install the Phillips-head screws on all sides of the front panel. Thank you for your purchase of a Kool Dry High Velocity Dryer. Chris Christensen Systems, the manufacturer, warrants the Kool Dry High Velocity Pet Dryers against defects in materials and workmanship arising under normal usage and care for a period of one year from date of original sale unless otherwise specified. (Note: Hose and all plastic hose attachments are not covered). If a problem occurs, please call for return instructions. Unit to be shipped freight prepaid to Chris Christensen Systems at 325 Industrial Park Dr., Fairfield, TX. 75840 USA.
Warranty Exclusions: Damage in Shipment, rust or corrosion caused by detergent and/or moisture, dirty motors, failure that was caused by inadequate filter cleaning, damage caused by heavy impact, adapting any devices not approved or sold by manufacturer, evidence of disassembly or attempted field repair, any motor where commentator or brush wear indicates the motor has been used to full extent of its normal life expectancy regardless of the date sold, are not warranted by Chris Christensen Systems. Units returned for repairs found not be covered under warranty, manufacturer will notify owner of repair charges before repairing unit unless written instructions stating otherwise are included. All major credit cards are accepted.
